Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how List Vault Data handles information about visitors and customers of this website. It covers your information as a user of our site — it does not describe the business and organization records that make up the datasets we sell, which are addressed in Section 8.

We collect only what we need to sell and deliver data files:

• Order information — the email address and name you provide at checkout, the dataset and filters you purchased, record count, amount paid, and your order and download history.
• Account information — if you create an account, your email address and any details you add to your profile.
• Interest and waitlist submissions — the email address, company, intended use case, fields you're looking for, geography and pricing expectations you voluntarily submit on a Coming Soon dataset page.
• Support messages — whatever you include when you contact us.
• Technical information — standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring source.

We do not collect or store payment card numbers. See Section 4.

We use your information to:

• process your order and deliver your file and download links;
• provide support, handle replacement and refund requests, and re-issue expired links;
• notify you when a dataset you asked about becomes available;
• send occasional updates about new datasets and refreshes — you can opt out at any time;
• keep records required for accounting, tax and license enforcement; and
• understand which pages and datasets people find useful, so we can improve the catalog.

We do not use your information to build or enrich the datasets we sell.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of payment and limited transaction details such as amount, status and the last four digits of the card. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

We sell compiled business and organization data. We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose your personal information as a customer or visitor of this site, and your email address is never added to a dataset or shared with the organizations listed in one.

We share limited information with the providers that make the site work: our payment processor (Stripe), our hosting and application platform, our transactional email provider, and our website analytics provider. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function, and is not permitted to use your information for its own marketing.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property or safety — including to investigate unauthorized redistribution of a purchased file.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your list-builder selections, and measure site traffic. Analytics data is aggregated and used to understand which datasets and pages draw interest. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the site — including checkout — may not function correctly without them.

The datasets we sell contain business and organization information — names, physical addresses, publicly listed phone numbers and email addresses, websites and leadership titles — compiled from public records, official registries, published directories and organizations' own websites. This is business contact information about organizations, not consumer data, and it is not compiled for credit, employment or insurance purposes.

If you represent an organization in one of our datasets and want your record corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on the request promptly and suppress the record from future files.

We keep order and license records for as long as needed to support your purchase, enforce license terms and meet legal and accounting obligations. Waitlist and interest submissions are kept until the related dataset launches or the request becomes stale. You can ask us to delete your account information at any time, subject to records we must retain.

Purchased files are stored in private storage and delivered through time-limited signed links. Access to customer and order records is restricted to authorized administrators. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold.

You can unsubscribe from product emails using the link in any message, request a copy or correction of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Requests are handled through our contact page, and we respond within a reasonable period.

The site is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
