Refund & Delivery Policy

Last updated September 2026

In plain language

Files are delivered instantly after payment, so a purchased data file can't be "returned" — but we stand behind the records in it.

Report inaccurate records within 14 days and we'll replace them or credit your account, record for record.

If no file ever reached you, or the file is materially not what the dataset page described, you get a full refund.

1.How Delivery Works

Every order is a digital file. When your payment is confirmed, your file is generated and a secure download link is made available on your order page and sent to the email address used at checkout. Most orders are ready within a minute or two; larger full-file exports can take slightly longer.

Delivery is considered complete when the file is made available to you. If you do not see your file, check the spam folder for the email address you entered, then contact us — we can re-issue the link.

2.Re-downloading Your File

Download links are time-limited for security, and each order allows a limited number of downloads. If your link expires or you lose the file, you can request a fresh link from your order page or by contacting us. We re-issue links for the duration of your license period at no charge.

Re-issued files exclude any records that have since been found to be closed, duplicated or otherwise unsellable, so a later download may contain slightly fewer rows than your original file.

3.Digital Files Are Non-Returnable

Because a data file can be copied the moment it is downloaded, purchased files cannot be returned or cancelled once delivered, and custom lists built to your filters are non-refundable. This is standard practice for data and list products and protects both us and our other customers.

4.Accuracy Guarantee — Replace or Credit

We compile from public records and grade every record, but organizations close, move and change contacts. If records in your file are materially inaccurate, tell us within fourteen (14) days of delivery and we will, at our election:

  • replace the affected records with valid records matching your original filters, at no charge; or
  • issue an account credit equal to the value of the affected records, usable toward any future purchase.

A record counts as materially inaccurate if the organization is permanently closed, the physical address is wrong, or a supplied phone number or email address is invalid or not associated with the organization. Records where a contact person has changed roles, a phone call went unanswered, or an email was not replied to are not considered inaccurate.

5.When We Issue a Full Refund

We will refund an order in full when:

  • payment was taken but no file was ever delivered and we cannot deliver one;
  • the file is materially not as described on the dataset page — for example, it is substantially smaller than the record count shown at checkout, or is missing fields that were listed as included; or
  • a duplicate charge was processed for the same order.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, and typically appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank.

6.How to Submit a Request

Send your request through our contact page with your order email, the dataset name, and — for accuracy claims — the specific rows in question and what you found to be wrong. A simple list of the affected organization names is enough. We review requests within two business days.

7.Free Samples

Sample files are free, contain no contact information, and are provided so you can judge structure and quality before buying. They carry no refund or accuracy guarantee, and are covered by the same Data License Agreement as paid files.

8.Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. Nearly every delivery issue is resolved quickly with a re-issued link or a replacement file. Orders subject to a chargeback have their license terminated and their download links disabled.
